Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2026 • Version 1.0

Quick Overview

By using ImageNode, you retain 100% ownership and copyright of your assets. Because processing runs on your own hardware, you are responsible for the files you choose to process. ImageNode is provided "as is" for lawful purposes only.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ImageNode (imagenode.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Service Description

ImageNode provides in-browser micro-tools and visual workflow automation for media processing, including format conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, metadata stripping, and watermarking. All computational operations take place on your client device using standard web capabilities (HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, Web Workers).

3. Intellectual Property & User Ownership

You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all images and materials you process through ImageNode.

  • No License Transferred: ImageNode does not claim any intellectual property rights, licenses, or copyrights over your images.
  • No Content Transmission: Because your images are never stored on or sent through our servers, ImageNode has neither the capacity nor the intent to view, copy, or redistribute your creative work.
  • Proprietary Codebase: The ImageNode name, logo, UI designs, client-side algorithms, and website assets are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use ImageNode to:

  • Process content that violates applicable local, national, or international laws, including copyright infringement or distribution of unlawful material.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with our proprietary workflow orchestration scripts or service infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the availability of our content delivery networks through automated high-concurrency bot abuse or denial-of-service attempts.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

ImageNode is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Client-side execution performance is contingent on your hardware capacity, available device memory (RAM), and web browser standards compliance. We do not warrant that our tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with corrupted file streams.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ImageNode, its founders, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this service, including but not limited to loss of data, browser crashes, or corrupted output files. Users are advised to retain backup copies of their original assets prior to batch transformation.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at our discretion. Any modifications will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision timestamp. Continued use of ImageNode following modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
